Summary
We’re building out our Gaming function in Malta and are looking for an experienced Casino Manager to own the day-to-day operation of our casino product across all brands. This is a hands-on leadership role at the centre of games operations – spanning release planning and provider management through to positioning, commercial performance, and cross-functional delivery.
Reporting to the Director of Gaming and leading a team of two Casino Coordinators, you’ll be the operational owner who keeps games shipping on time, performing well, and running smoothly. You’ll set direction for your team while staying close enough to the detail to solve problems yourself.
As one of the founding hires in a growing Malta team, you’ll also help shape the processes and ways of working the function is built on – a genuine opportunity to make the role your own. It suits a self-starter who is equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities
Game release & roadmap management
• Own and maintain the game release roadmap, coordinating launch schedules and keeping delivery on track across all brands.
• Oversee release game releases, ensuring each launch meets quality, compliance, and operational standards.
• Manage game certification submissions and coordinate the compliance requirements tied to releases and brand/entity migrations.
Provider & aggregator management
• Serve as the operational point of contact for game providers and aggregators – managing integrations, onboarding new providers, and resolving technical and integration issues.
• Coordinate with providers on positioning, content requests, and promotional opportunities, balancing partner asks against objective quality and commercial standards.
• Support provider reconciliations and content-related finance queries in partnership with Finance.
Game positioning & merchandising
• Own lobby and site structure, positioning games based on performance data, player behaviour, and strategic priorities.
• Ensure exclusive, branded, and new titles are surfaced effectively to drive engagement and retention.
Performance, reporting & commercial
• Review daily performance reporting – revenue, active players, margin, and bonus costs – identifying trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities.
• Investigate cost and performance drivers in collaboration with CRM and BI, translating data into operational and commercial decisions.
• Use BI and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate reporting and turn insight into action.
Cross-functional coordination
• Align game release timing with CRM and marketing campaign planning to avoid conflicts and maximise launch impact.
• Manage the design workflow for game thumbnails and creative assets, ensuring a smooth, well-defined submission process.
Compliance & operational controls
• Oversee game certification and testing
• Apply operational controls such as hiding or blocking specific games or studios when required for troubleshooting or business reasons.
• Own the escalation workflow for provider and technical issues, ensuring problems are resolved efficiently through the right channels.
Team leadership
• Manage and develop a team of two Casino Coordinators – setting priorities, distributing workload, and building operational capability.
• Establish, document, and continuously improve processes as the team takes ownership of responsibilities transitioning into Malta.
Key Requirements
• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in casino / games operations within iGaming.
• Hands-on experience with game release/publishing tools, provider back offices, and aggregator platforms.
• Comfortable working with BI and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) – and with AI/data tools – to monitor performance and drive decisions.
• Solid understanding of game certification
• Commercial awareness – able to use performance data to drive revenue and player KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, able to coordinate effectively across providers and internal teams.
• People-management experience, or a strong track record ready to step into team leadership.
• A self-starter – motivated, ambitious, and genuinely happy to be hands-on across both strategy and execution.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
