Summary

Serve as primary contact for B2B affairs, supporting broad range of contractual, regulatory and gambling compliance responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary legal advisor for B2B operations, delivering practical, commercially focused legal guidance to senior management on legal risks, strategic options, and business decisions.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain a wide range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, content and platform supply, distribution, reseller, and other business contracts, while developing and refining standard contractual templates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including the wider Group Legal and Compliance function, to support business objectives and ensure legal and regulatory requirements are embedded across operations.
  • Lead the management of B2B gaming licences across multiple jurisdictions, including preparing and submitting licence applications, maintaining ongoing compliance obligations, and overseeing regulatory reporting, audits, notifications, and periodic returns.
  • Monitor changes in gambling legislation and supplier licensing regimes, assessing their commercial impact and incorporating regulatory developments into market entry, certification, and licensing strategies.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities where required, while acting as the holder of key functions and personal management licences in relevant jurisdictions, subject to regulatory approval.
  • Maintain the approved markets framework by advising on market accessibility, regulated versus unregulated jurisdictions, and ensuring territorial restrictions and geo-blocking requirements are accurately reflected within commercial agreements.
  • Verify and monitor the licensing status, regulatory standing, and market eligibility of B2B clients throughout the commercial relationship, ensuring products and services are supplied only in authorised markets.
  • Oversee technical and regulatory compliance for products and platforms by coordinating certification programmes, security audits, and relationships with accredited testing laboratories.
  • Manage regulatory change processes for platform and game releases, working closely with technical and product teams to ensure certification, notifications, and remediation activities are completed efficiently.
  • Develop, implement, review, and enforce internal policies, procedures, guidelines, and compliance manuals to support effective governance and regulatory adherence.
  • Own the B2B onboarding and due diligence framework, including KYB, CDD, sanctions screening, adverse media reviews, and anti-bribery and corruption due diligence for clients, suppliers, and commercial partners.
  • Advise on data protection matters relating to B2B arrangements, including controller/processor assessments, data processing agreements, and international data transfers, in collaboration with the Group Data Protection function.
  • Protect the company’s intellectual property portfolio by supporting the registration, renewal, and enforcement of IP rights, assisting with IP disputes, and developing an effective domain name strategy.
  • Carry out additional legal, regulatory, and compliance responsibilities as required to support the business.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulatory, legal, or advisory roles within the B2B iGaming sector.
  • Proven ability to provide independent, commercially focused regulatory and legal advice to internal business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing gambling regulatory and licensing matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the preparation, submission, and ongoing management of licence applications and regulatory filings.
  • Strong understanding of B2B supplier licensing and authorisation frameworks, with knowledge of technical compliance and product certification processes, including engagement with accredited test laboratories.
  • Eligibility and willingness to undergo regulatory vetting and hold key function and/or personal management licence appointments where required; previous experience in such appointments would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of B2B commercial agreements, including software licensing, platform and content supply, distribution, and reseller arrangements.
  • Working knowledge of data protection requirements within a B2B contracting environment, including data processing agreements, controller/processor considerations, and international data transfers.
  • Exposure to intellectual property portfolio management, brand protection, and corporate due diligence processes, including Know Your Business (KYB), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), sanctions screening, and related compliance activities, would be advantageous.
